I am a CBT therapist accredited with the BABCP. I have practiced CBT in NHS Wellbeing services in London and Norfolk and have provided group and individual CBT to university students. I am a registered mental health nurse of many years’ experience and have a degree in psychology and a PhD in Education.
CBT is a form of psychological therapy that focusses on the links between thoughts, emotions, physical experiences and behaviour. It helps identify and change unhelpful thinking and behaviour patterns that contribute to emotional difficulties.
I have experience of helping adults with a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, OCD, problems relating to traumatic events, workplace stress and relationship problems. I have a compassionate approach and understand that each person’s experience is unique and important.
