Admin & Reception Volunteer
In this role you will assist staff with reception and admin duties at Quay Place which is open to members of the public, Suffolk Mind staff and various group and individual activities. You will meet and greet visitors, help with questions from members of the public, assist with basic admin duties using Microsoft Word and help with putting packs together. Christmas Planning Volunteer
In this role you will be responsible for assisting our team in Quay Place, Ipswich with children and family Christmas events/activities, making this year our best Christmas to date. For more details, click here.
Quay Place Father Christmas
We are looking for a Father Christmas to be the face of our Santa’s Grotto. You will meet with families and children to give out presents at this very exciting time of year. Click here for more details.
Quay Place Elf
This Christmas we are looking for Elves to help run our Santa’s Grotto. You will greet families who visit our grotto, help with Christmas craft activities and help Father Christmas at his busiest time of year. Click here for more details.
WW1 Heritage Schools Volunteer
In this role you will be responsible for assisting our WW1 Heritage Schools manager with the delivery of our World War One programme to primary schools in Suffolk. There is also the opportunity to help with the administration of the programme. For more details, click here .
Quay Place Steward
We are looking for a friendly face to welcome our visitors and help with enquires and other daily administrative tasks. Someone who is willing to help with whatever needs doing, from preparing promotional literature to setting up rooms for meetings. Days and hours for the role will be a regular 4 hour shift on an afternoon (1pm-5pm) or evening (5pm-9pm) Monday – Friday or a Saturday morning (9am-1pm). For more details click here.
Gardener Co-ordinator/Lead Gardener
To guide and lead in all aspects of running the garden and running a two hour monthly group. Encourage and motivate others in the garde, helping to assign tasks on different levels. Ongoing maintenance of the garden, planting, design and ongoing ground support. For more info click here
To help with the upkeep of the garden and ongoing maintenance, weeding and tidying. To provide general support to the team at Quay Place to help keep the building tidy up so that it looks its best for our visitors.
