A fascinating talk on 'What the Tudors ate' by John Biglin, Heritage and Community coordinator at Quay Place.
Come along and learn about the types of food and how the Tudors ate their way through some well known and lesser well known foods. Not everyone had the wealth of the rich so we will be looking, not just at what the wealthy people ate, but also what sustained everyday folk. Their diet was varied and for many healthier than the modern day diet and all done without our knowledge food hygiene.
There is no charge for the talk although donations are always welcome.
