Quay Place Steward
We are looking for a friendly face to welcome our visitors and help with enquires and other daily administrative tasks. Someone who is willing to help with whatever needs doing, from preparing promotional literature to setting up rooms for meetings. Days and hours for the role will be a regular 4 hour shift on an afternoon (1pm-5pm) or evening (5pm-9pm) Monday – Friday. For more details click here.
Garden Explorers Volunteer
You will be responsible for setting up and running our Garden Explorer Sessions. You will welcome families and children, outlining the mornings activities, read a story to the group, ensure families are kept safe, whilst providing an imaginative and creative session that promotes wellbeing. Childrens Activity Helpers - Quay Place Explorers Club
Main duties and responsibilities will be to help run and set up a children’s activity area whilst parents and carers can relax and to engage children with activities and use creative minds to explore local heritage. Days and hours for the role to be agreed but included some weekends and during school holidays.

Gardener Co-ordinator/Lead Gardener
To guide and lead in all aspects of running the garden and running a two hour monthly group. Encourage and motivate others in the garde, helping to assign tasks on different levels. Ongoing maintenance of the garden, planting, design and ongoing ground support. For more info click here
To help with the upkeep of the garden and ongoing maintenance, weeding and tidying. To provide general support to the team at Quay Place to help keep the building tidy up so that it looks its best for our visitors.
